Champion Home Care Solutions desires to select and hire the dedicated caregivers who have compassion for the seniors and handicapped in NW Houston. The qualities we look for are the following:

  • Compassion – Ready and able to go the “second mile” to give client satisfaction.
  • Passion – Doing this work because they love it!
  • Skills – Able to deliver skilled services and ready to learn how to do even better.
  • Personality – Encouraging, focused on others, positive thinker.
  • Transportation – Reliable vehicle with current TDL and insurance.
  • Pets – A love for our senior’s pets.

Champion Home Care hires caregivers bi- monthly on the 2nd and 4th Thursday. The application procedure is as follows:

  1. Application – Applications are taken daily at our office or may be completed on line at our web address. The application process is as follows
  2. Application Review – HR will review all applicants to make sure they are in the area to service our clients, and for availability. The two references will be contacted.
  3. Interview – The applicant will be asked to come to the office to sign the state consent for criminal history. CHS has a zero tolerance on the state background check, the nurse registry, and employment registry. If there are no negative findings, the applicant will be interviewed.
  4. Orientation – The applicant will be invited to CHS Orientation. Training on agency policies and caregiver expectations will be given.
  5. Employment – The caregiver will be given a choice to accept a job with our agency.  Caregivers are expected to be available during the hours/days they have chosen for availability, and to do all assignments within a 10 mile radius of our agency.
  6. Between jobs – CHS makes all effort to keep our caregivers employed. Between clients we use our caregivers to substitute until a regular client can be again given to the caregiver.
